The Play 2 P2300D1 is the next step in the bold Play series. P2300D1 is a tough 12-inch subwoofer that performs incredibly well for its price, with a sturdy red steel plate basket for extra durability, a detail that also increases the coolness factor. This is an affordable little monster that thrives in both ported and sealed enclosures!
With the Play 2 series, we mean business; we’re talking a lot of oohmp for the money. This thing really boosts and enhances the lower frequency range of your sound system. Through design with great finesse and clever material choices, we’ve created a subwoofer that is guaranteed to impress – especially in the right enclosure!
With two 45 Oz magnets, the magnet is much more powerful than its little brother P300. It’s just one detail that we’ve optimized and perfected, a alot of thought has also been paid to reinforcing the steel basket and giving the subwoofer a strong foam suspension. The cone is made of unpressed paper, with a dust cap made of a single piece of polypropylene. The power handling is also much higher than P300, something that sets a new standard in its price range in every way!
