The Dynavoice Challenger S-5 is the smallest speaker in the Challenger series. It is perfectly in tune with the the other models in the series and perfect for a 5.1 system, or stand alone in pair in a stereo system. The S-5 is housed with a 5,25 inch combined midrange/woofer, a Super Audio tweeter, and has two bass reflex ports on the front.
The first speaker series Dynavoice ever produced was Challenger. Throughout the years Hifi magazines and customers alike have praised the Challenger series for the incredible price-performance ratio. Sturdy and well built cabinets, high performing components and a highly detailed, powerful and natural sound makes it unique in its segment.
The woofer is made out of pressed paper which gives the speakers a rich and detailed fidelity and lets it handle loads of power without losing control. The Super Audio tweeter is designed to have a high power handling while still maintaining clarity.
When the swedish magazine Ljud & Bild tested 5.0 systems they paired the S-5 together with the M-65 floorstanding speakers and the C-5 center speaker and compared them to systems that cost twice as much. The test panel was blown away: ”The Dynavoice system has a big and impressive movie sound, where the full character gives a great experience and a high entertainment factor”.
